Frequently asked questions
My daughter is planning on studying electrical engineering in college. Does she need this course?
AP Calculus AB is a challenging, college-level course. By taking our Parallel course, your daughter will be mastering the fundamental concepts of calculus that create the bedrock for upper level math. This will position her nicely for AP Calculus BC and Differential Equations going forward.
Our son is taking Pre-Calculus in the fall. Can he take this course to get ahead for next year?
No, it’s really not a good idea. Even for precocious math students, Pre-Calculus is challenging due to its abstract nature. In addition, all of the students in our AP Calculus AB class will already have had a full year of Pre-Calculus under their belts.
