Stay sharp between test prep and future exams.
“We assumed our son would need to take the SAT more than once. With Stay Sharp, he was able to review all that he had learned in his Small Group class. He reached his goal on the second SAT!”
– Sunil G, parent
Most students take the SAT or ACT more than once.
Conquering the SAT or the ACT is a process. Most students who are applying to top tier colleges and universities will take these standardized exams two or three times. The majority of institutions of higher learning superscore the SAT and ACT. This means that they will determine the section-level SAT score by taking the student’s best score for math and best score for reading. For the ACT, the superscore composite is determined by taking the average of the best scores for the math, reading, English, and science sections of the ACT. So it’s often in a student’s best interest to take the exam more than once to refine a particular section score. In fact, our students take the SAT or ACT an average of 2.5 times.
So how do students prepare for the second or third time they take the exam?
They take our Stay Sharp course.
We focus on the three elements of test preparedness:
- Content review
- Homework help
- Practice test review
We’ve developed this program to ensure that no ground is lost between the completion of a Small Group Test Prep course and the SAT/ACT that the student then eventually takes.
